Loggerhead Turtle In Difficulty Rescued By ERA Officers

During routine inspections at sea, Environment & Resources Authority (ERA) officials found a loggerhead turtle in distress and provided it with the necessary assistance.

The turtle was taken to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre managed by Nature Trust Malta. With the assistance of ERA, the turtle will be given the care it needs to recover and, if possible, return to its natural environment.
