Locals Share Stunning Lightning Storm Photos From This Past Weekend

Locals shared various photographs of this past weekend’s lightning storm, which lit up Maltese skies with stunning flashes and provided stunning photography opportunities… all taken from a considerably safe distance, of course!

Leon Xuereb shared the moment, milliseconds apart before dawn, when lightning turned night into day for a split second.

Meanwhile, through photos shared by It-Temp Madwarna, David James captured the stunning streaks of lightning zooming across local skies over localities and the Mediterranean Sea.

The weather seems to have stabilised for this coming week, but tomorrow, Tuesday 13th, is set to bring some rainy showers, with the rest of the week also remaining relatively cloudy.
