Locals Capture Stunning Shots Of Beaver Full Moon Over Malta

Yesterday, November 5th, saw a full Beaver moon shine over the Earth, with many local photographers taking the opportunity to take a shot at the phenomenon.

The Beaver Moon was the closest and brightest moon of 2025, which occurred when the full moon coincides wit the closest point to Earth in its orbit, known as the perigee.

This made it appear larger than a regular fool moon. Among those capturing a photo was Marika Caruana, who photographed our natural satellite behind the Mdina Cathedral.

Joseph Borg also captured a photo from Birkirkara, as did Reuters’ Darrin Zammit Lupi over the town of Senglea as seen from Marsa.

Did you spot the moon yesterday?
