Locals Capture Stunning Moon Photos Over Maltese Skies

Local
The moon shone with a bright copper light yesterday night, prompting many to run out and capture some stunning photos of our natural satellite.
The moon was partly alight with the hue due to the dust that was covering the Mediterranean, along with the Maltese islands.
However, this also comes ahead of tonight’s full moon, which is set to be a Full Sturgeon Moon. This is the traditional name for the full moon in August and comes from Native American and other indigenous traditions.
It refers to that time of year when giant lake sturgeon in the Great Lakes were most easily caught
