Local Singer Claudia Faniello Turns 38 Years Old

Maltese singer Claudia Faniello has turned 38 years old, and local presenters Ryan and Josmar threw it back with some old photos to wish her a happy birthday.

‘We grew up together’, they wrote. ‘We’ve known you from the age of twenty-two! Now you’re 38! Time flew!’

‘When you were younger you looked older and other students used to think you were a teacher, but today you look younger!’

Claudia represented Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest with her song Breathlessly in 2017. She went on to place 3rd in Mużika Mużika 2022 with her song Ġmielek.

‘I never had a precise plan for where I would be at 38. My life has always been rather unpredictable, sometimes in good ways and sometimes not’, wrote Claudia.

‘I have always been ready for everything: triumph, setbacks, disappointment, joy and tears. It has shaped me into a person with a deep thirst for life, someone who gives people a chance and who loves those around her with great intensity.’

‘I know that when you are open and vulnerable, you will experience heartbreak, but the impact you leave on others is far more profound. I have always believed that authenticity sets you apart. Touching another person’s heart with humility, by truly listening and paying attention, is something priceless. I also know that this can hurt, because you feel everything deeply in a world where many live in fear of showing who they truly are.’

‘Life is not simply black or white. It is filled with colour. Do not lose yourself in anger and hatred. Only in forgiveness and acceptance do we find peace. And despite everything, here I am, ready to continue painting my life in the brightest colours, to laugh more, and to embrace every moment of being 38. Cheers.’
