Local Shelter Pays Tribute To Bessie After Her Death From Cancer

The Association for Abandoned Animals took to social media to highlight the memory of Bessie, who passed away yesterday from cancer.
Bessie was previously at the AAA before she was adopted by “two incredible people” who are part of the AAA community.
They took a chance on Bessie 4 years ago, who otherwise had a very slim chance of adoption due to being an older dog, having health issues, and sometimes biting.
“Today, we honour Bessie and all the departed pets who left paw prints on our hearts,” shared the shelter, “But we also honour the heroes who open their homes to the least 'perfect' dogs.”
Rest in peace, Bessie.
