Local Shelter Calls For Adoption Of Terminally Ill Dog

The Abandoned Animals Association Malta is calling for a special person to adopt Annette, a terminally ill dog in need of a home.

Anette initially arrived at AAA with a mammary tumour and a hernia, but once she was seen by a veterinary team, they quickly discovered that the situation was worse than everyone originally anticipated.

Her hernia has been dealt with, but sadly the cancer spread and there is nothing left to do except show Annette as much love as possible.

“We don't know exactly how much time Annette has left, but we know that her time is not now as she is still lively, eats well and not in pain,” the shelter explained.

The shelter explained that the sweet girl needs “a home that is quiet and full of love, love that Annette certainly never had as she was abandoned in the streets.”
