Local Record For Tallest Crochet Christmas Tree In Ħal Għaxaq

The Malta Records has presented a new record, this time in front of the Ħal Għaxaq parish church and an excited audience.
The tallest Christmas tree made out of crochet, at a length of 10.50 metres and width of 3.25 metres.
The record surpassed one that was set 5 years ago, and was set by the Ħal Għaxaq Local Council and the Għaxaq Craft Club at the start of the ‘Mixegħla tal-Milied fil-Pjazza’ activities launched in Pjazza Santa Marija, Ħal Għaxaq.
The local council was led by mayor Karl Boxall. Well done all!
