Local Photographer Captures Stunning Shots Of Fireworks

Local photographer Marika Caruana has captured a striking series of images from Kalkara during one of the highlights of the Malta International Fireworks Festival.
The festival, which forms part of Malta’s cultural calendar, featured displays on the 20th and 25th April, with a final showcase scheduled for the 30th of April 2026.
Spectators gathered along the waterfront to witness the spectacle.
Caruana’s photographs vividly portray the night sky illuminated by bursts of colour, as fireworks painted the skyline in shades of purple, green, red and gold.
