Local Man & Dog Clear Over 14 Bags Worth Of Garbage Off Coasts

In a wholesome post shared to The Coast is Clear Foundation, Mark Galea Pace revealed that he, along with his dog Gorg, went for a clean up the some of the islands’ hardest to reach coasts.
The pair went to Qala Gozo point and Malta’s west coast, and managed to clear 14 large bags of plastic garbage, as well as a 22m long plastic pipe which was tangled on the shoreline.
‘Unfortunately these beaches are in direct aim of currents washing up heaps of plastic debris, ropes, fishing lines, boating equipment and garbage discarded by passing by ships’, wrote Mark.
‘These solo coastal clean ups also act as a mind healer to the daily stresses of life and of course quality time with my bestie Gorg.’
