Local Council Pet First Aid Courses Project Announced

Speaking in a video, Parliamentary Secretary for Local Government Alison Zerafa Civelli announced that a pilot project whereby local councils teach pet first aid courses will be launching.
This, said Zerafa Civelli, came after she was watching a programme of AWLA, where it was recommended that citizens can be trained in basic pet first aid to help their pets if needed and without having to resort to emergency services.
The Parliamentary Secretary said that after being made aware of this idea she immediately took it to the Director General and a pilot project will be starting to give pet owners the chance to learn this valuable skill.
