Local artist Seb Tanti Burlò sketched a quick drawing of this weekends most notable events: the 2026 general election and this morning’s Magħtab explosion.
The smoke from the blast was drawn as a hand indicating number 4, a sign being made by Labour supporters and politicians as they mark their historic four year consecutive election win.
With fireworks going off with the explosion, the Viva Labour chants can be seen written next to the blast. ‘Good omens’, quipped Burlò.
