Little Hoglet Gets A Second Chance After Found With Feet Covered In Cement

A young female hoglet was found on the same doorstep in Nadur, Gozo on two consecutive days.

When she was brought in for care by Nature Trust’s wildlife team, it became clear that her tiny feet were covered in cement, making it difficult for her to move properly.

This little critter is making great progress every day, and even though she’s very comfortable in the care of the team, her rehabilitation will soon see her go back to the wildlife.

Named Wilma, the team hopes she will find her natural home once she’s all healed up.
