Little Chicks Stuck In Canal Saved In Għajnsielem

The group Għajnsielem & Gozo Cats saved a group of adorable little chicks which were stuck in a canal in Għajnsielem.
The chicks were reportedly displaced by council works, with the group seeking council help to relocate them in November of 2024.
Their suggestions were unfortunately ignored, and this led to their displacement.
‘We have an animal steward and space at a Bethlehem for them but our council just doesn’t care to act, not even pretend to.’
