Lewis Capaldi has added a unique piece of musical history to his personal collection during his latest visit to Malta.

The Scottish singer recently purchased a 1920 Gibson L-3 from Play Vintage, a guitar boutique in Naxxar and authorised Gibson dealer. The shop shared the news on social media, congratulating Capaldi on his “new” vintage instrument and praising his taste in guitars.

The 1920 Gibson L-3 is a century-old instrument, making the purchase a particularly special addition to the singer’s collection.

Capaldi was in Malta for his second performance in the country, having previously performed at the Fosos in Floriana in 2022. His latest visit saw him return to the island for another performance in front of a packed crowd.

He headlined the opening day of SummerDaze Malta at the Ta’ Qali Concert Area, delivering an emotional performance for fans.
