“LEJLA F’SANTA VENERA” TO KICK OFF FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS AHEAD OF TITULAR FEAST

The Santa Venera Local Council will be hosting “Lejla f’Santa Venera” on Saturday, 11 July, marking the official start of the festive celebrations leading up to the community’s titular feast.

The event will take place from 7:00pm onwards along Triq il-Kbira San Ġużepp (Strada Rjali), offering an evening of entertainment and activities for residents, families, and visitors.

The programme will include games and activities for children, as well as a headline concert featuring some of Malta’s most popular performers as part of “Kurt & Friends”. The line-up includes Kurt Calleja, Jasmine Abela, Sarah Bonnici, Owen Leuellen, Yulan Law, and Maltese music icon Mike Spiteri.

Following the concert, the celebrations will continue with a live DJ set by DJ Zrinzo, providing entertainment for younger audiences.

Santa Venera Mayor Gianluca Falzon said the event reflects the Local Council’s commitment to creating cultural and community initiatives that bring people together.

Free parking will be available at Triq Braille, Triq il-Kanun, Triq Ħal Qormi, and Triq il-Parroċċa to facilitate access to the event.

“Lejla f’Santa Venera” is organised by the Santa Venera Local Council in collaboration with the Ministry for Local Government and Public Works and Visit Malta.
