Late Parker Ċikku L-Markiż Taken To Wied Iż-Żurrieq After Funeral

Francis Caruana, known as Ċikku l-Markiż, who passed away recently, was driven to Wied Iż-Żurrieq today where, for many years, he served as the main parking’s parker.

The funeral service was held this morning, with Caruana being driven to the spot were worked and greeted both locals and tourists alike.

Ċikku started visiting the area when he was very young, and continued his father’s work to eventually become one of the most recognisable faces at the popular destination.
