Late Jake Vella’s Drums To Stay At Puttinu Cares

The drum kit of late sports ambassador and all-around motivational icon Jake Vella will continue to bring joy to kids undergoing care at Puttinu Cares.

The NGO, that helps kids battle serious illnesses like cancer, revealed that an anonymous benefactor issued a generous donation that will see the drum kit continue to bring joy at Puttinu Cares.

Jake passed away in August of last year at the age of 15 years after battling a rare condition called ROHHAD.

Despite his limitations, and routine restrictions of having to be hospitalised, Jake held fundraisers for animals, practiced various sports and even learned the guitar whilst continuing his education.

His memory now lives on in not just his parents Josie and Marouska, but all the kids he will continue to bring joy to through this drum kit!
