Last Saturday’s Day Time Was Exactly As Long As Night Time

In case you missed it, last Saturday, 26th September, saw the ‘equilux’, which takes place when the day time is as long as the night time.
The sun rose at 06:53am and set at 06:53pm, marking exactly 12 hours of both light and night.
Starting yesterday, Sunday 27th, the night will get longer than the day until we get to the winter solstice on the 21st of December, which marks the shortest day and longest night of the year.
