The Msida Creek flyover project has reached another important milestone with the placement of one of its final structures. Minister for Transport, Infrastructure, and Public Works, Chris Bonett, confirmed that the massive 45-tonne, 26-metre steel girder, forming the 4/6th section of the flyover, was successfully lifted into place last night by E&L Enterprises Ltd.

“This significant step comes less than ten months since the project began,” Minister Bonett stated. “We have maintained full transparency from the very start, and works are progressing at a very positive pace, while continuously striving to minimize inconvenience for residents and visitors in the area.”

The newly positioned girder now completes a crucial curve of the flyover, bringing the project closer to its anticipated completion. The flyover, described as an ambitious and much-needed infrastructure development, is expected to significantly improve traffic flow and connectivity in the Msida area.
