Large Amount Of Illegal Laughing Gas Cylinders Found in Għajnsielem

The Għajnsielem Local Council shared photos of a big bundle of nitrous oxide cylinders, also known as laughing gas, which were found tossed into the local environment.

Workers from the local council found the cylinders in Wied ta’ Simirat and Sant’Eliju, with the council sharing the photos to raise awareness on the negative issues for youth and the environmental cost.

Nitrous oxide was banned for recreational use last month, with offenders now liable to criminal proceedings.
