Labour Party Proposes €1,000 Annual Bonus For Full Time Workers

The Labour Party has proposed a “Super Bonus” of €1,000 per year for employees and self-employed persons earning €12,000 or more annually, including full-time workers and single workers.
This applies to all those earning an annual income equivalent to the minimum wage, as explained by Abela, and also includes part-time workers whose earnings exceed this amount.
Part-time workers earning less than €12,000 per year will receive a pro rata bonus, which will not be less than €500 per year.
In addition, the proposal includes a reduction in the corporate tax rate from 35% to 25% for companies with an annual turnover of €1 million or less.
