Labour Party Presents Its Nominations For Upcoming Casual Elections

The Labour Party has submitted its nominations for a number of upcoming casual elections to fill parliamentary seats vacated by elected MPs.

For the Second Electoral District seat ceded by Prime Minister Robert Abela, the nominees are Clinton Domenic Azzopardi Flores and Jorge Grech. Naomi Cachia has been nominated for the Seventh District seat vacated by Ian Borg.

In the Ninth District, six candidates have been nominated for the seat ceded by Michael Falzon: Vania Agius Tabone, Clinton Domenic Azzopardi Flores, Miguel Balzan, Tania Borg, Lorna Borg Vassallo and Mariah Meli.

Francesca Zarb is the sole nominee for the Eleventh District seat vacated by Miriam Dalli, while Vania Agius Tabone is the only candidate nominated for the Eighth District seat ceded by Clyde Caruana.

For the Ninth District seat vacated by Clifton Grima, the nominees are Vania Agius Tabone, Clinton Domenic Azzopardi Flores, Miguel Balzan, Lorna Borg Vassallo and Mariah Meli.
