Labour Party Honours Memory Of Former PM Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici

To mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister and Labour Party Leader Karmenu Mifsud Bonnici, Prime Minister Robert Abela and the Labour Party Administration laid a floral wreath at his monument in Castille Square.
Mifsud Bonnici served as Leader of the Labour Party from 1984 to 1992 and as Prime Minister of Malta from 1984 to 1987. His political legacy is rooted in a lifelong dedication to social justice, workers' rights and a strong welfare state.
Before leading the country, he held several ministerial roles, playing a key part in shaping policies that strengthened public services and improved the quality of life across Malta and Gozo.
