Labour Party Announces More Nominations Ahead Of Casual Election

The Labour Party has confirmed its nominations for the upcoming casual elections, following a series of vacancies arising across multiple electoral districts.

According to the list announced, David Caruana will contest seats in both the 9th District, previously held by Michael Falzon and Clifton Grima.

Romilda Zarb has been nominated for the 11th District, formerly associated with Miriam Dalli, as well as the 12th District, previously linked to Jonathan Attard.

In the 3rd District, which became vacant following Chris Fearne’s seat being ceded, Raymond Abela has been put forward as the party’s nominee.

Separately, several districts, including the 2nd, 7th, and 8th, remain listed as “nil” nominations at this stage, indicating no candidates have been assigned to fill those casual vacancies.
