Labour & PN Going Head To Head With 1st of May Mass Rallies

The Labour Party and the Nationalist Party are set to go head to head with their own respective mass rallies on the 1st of May.

The Labour Party called a mass meeting earlier this month for the 1st of May, set to take place in Valletta. Deputy Prime Minister and Deputy Leader for Parliamentary Affairs Ian Borg and Deputy Leader for Party Affairs Alex Agius Saliba made an announcement today for the meeting in Castille Square.

This is set to mark 100 years since the start of the 1st of May celebrations.

On their part, the Nationalist Party unveiled a new billboard calling for another mass meeting on the same day in Ħal Lija from 5pm onwards.

This comes amidst election speculation, with rumours of an impending one called by Prime Minister Robert Abela circulating.
