Krista Pisani Elected Vice President Of European Democrat Students

Krista Pisani has been elected Vice President of the European Democrat Students (EDS), the largest political student organisation in Europe and the student wing of the European People’s Party (EPP).

Pisani, who was nominated by the SDM for a position on the EDS executive, was elected during an election held last Saturday in Warsaw, Poland.

She secured the second highest number of votes among all candidates, marking a significant achievement for the Maltese student organisation on the European stage.

Prior to her election, Pisani served as Secretary General of the SDM, gaining experience within the organisation’s leadership structure.

During the same election, Francesco Sismondini from Italy was confirmed as President of the EDS for another two-year term.

The SDM congratulated Pisani, Sismondini, and the rest of the newly elected EDS executive, wishing them success in carrying out their responsibilities over the coming years.

The organisation also expressed its appreciation to Chayenne Riolo, who served as EDS Vice President after being nominated by the SDM during the previous term, for her contribution and work in the role.
