According to flight-tracking data from Flightradar24.com , conditions over Malta were among the most challenging seen in recent times due to Storm Harry.

Despite winds that relentlessly battered the islands, KM Malta Airlines pilots achieved an exceptional feat. All 17 scheduled flights landed safely on Malta on their first approach, with zero go-arounds recorded.

Other carriers faced far greater disruption. Ryanair operations saw 12 go-arounds, 8 diversions, and one aircraft diverting without attempting a landing at all.

Wizz Air also diverted one of its three scheduled arrivals away from Malta due to the severe weather.

Despite this data, it’s important to acknowledge the impressive nature of any pilot who managed to fly through or land in Malta in the last couple of days, especially on Tuesday when Storm Harry hit the Maltese islands.
