KM Malta Airlines Adds Extra Flights Due To High Demand for General Election Travel

KM Malta Airlines has announced additional flights and increased capacity following strong demand from passengers travelling to Malta to vote in the forthcoming General Election.
In the first two days of bookings for election-related travel, the airline has already secured over 1,000 return passengers. Around 90% of these bookings originate from Brussels and London.
In response to the high demand, KM Malta Airlines has obtained the necessary airport slots and will operate extra services from London Gatwick on 20, 21, 22, 24, and 31 May, as well as from Brussels on 21, 22, and 25 May.
These additional flights are intended to support voters travelling to Malta for early voting on 23 May, as well as those returning shortly after Election Day on 30 May.
Seats are still available on various dates for passengers planning to participate in either early voting or the main election day, with special election fares offered across the airline’s scheduled European routes.
KM Malta Airlines said the initiative provides greater flexibility for Maltese citizens living abroad who wish to take part in the upcoming election.
