Kim Wilde, Bonnie Tyler, Culture Beat, La Bouche and Marvin and Andrea Prezioso opening the season at the Summerlust Festival in Ghaxaq!
Ghaxaq Music Events have released more details on their annual festival, Summer Lust Music festival to be held on the 15th, 22nd and 23rd of May.
The organisers are currently making their last preparations for the three spectacular concerts that will be staged in the heart of Għaxaq, at Ghaxaq Grounds, right next to the main square.
The festival will begin on Friday, May 15th, featuring Kim Wilde, who will be performing the first time in Malta. Although Kim WIlde's repertoire is extensive, the audience will surely be eagerly waiting for some of her greatest hits such as "Keep on hanging on," "Cambodia," "You Came," "Kids in America" and many more.
Supporting Kim Wilde will be the local Group Different Mods and Warm up will be done by Alex Grech and Pierre Cordina. The night will end by a special gig from DJ Ziggy.
On Friday, May 22nd, the audience will be entertained by the legendary voice of Bonnie Tyler.
In a nostalgic concert, the audience can expect to hear her famous songs such as "Total Eclipse of the heart," "It’s a Heartache" and "Holding out for a Hero."
These great artists will also be joined by Glenn Vella and his band for a full 1 hour concert who will certainly enhance the show's atmosphere. Joining are special guests, Gaia and Matt Black, and DJSue will close the event.

Tickets range from Eur15 to Eur50 for both events. After the great responses from their sponsors and also collaboration with government entities the organisers are also setting up areas where entrance will be against a donation for both Concerts.
The organizers have also planned to host another show on Saturday 23rd May. The show will feature different artists from around the world who will take the audience on a nostalgic journey back to the nineties. Culture Beat, La Bouche and Dj Prezioso are among the performers who will entertain the crowd that day. It should be noted that the concert is free, but tickets for the VIP area can still be purchased from www.showshappening.com.
Add donations that will be collected in the 3 nights will be forwarded to Dar Bjorn. During the last 3 years more than Eur70,000 ere donated to charitable institutions.
