After the resounding success of previous editions of the Summer LUST Music Festival, which featured internationally acclaimed artists including Anastacia, Gigi D’Alessio, Chris Norman and Umberto Tozzi, organisers are preparing another outstanding programme for 2026.

This year, Għaxaq will host two major open air concerts on 15 and 22 May at the Għaxaq Grounds, offering music lovers an unforgettable live experience.

The festival will conclude on 23 May with the grand finale, Summerlust 90’s Edition, widely regarded as Malta’s leading celebration of 1990s music.

Headlining the first night on 15 May is Kim Wilde, the iconic British star who rose to fame in 1981 with Kids in America.

She went on to achieve global success with hits such as You Keep Me Hangin’ On, Cambodia, You Came and Never Trust a Stranger, selling more than 30 million records worldwide. Audiences can expect a high energy performance filled with timeless classics. Admission is free, with donations collected in aid of Dar Bjorn. VIP and seated tickets are available online.

On 22 May, Bonnie Tyler will take to the stage. The Welsh singer is known for her distinctive husky voice and international hits including Total Eclipse of the Heart, It’s a Heartache and Holding Out for a Hero.

With a career spanning five decades, she remains one of pop and rock’s most recognisable performers. Entry is free, with donations supporting Dar is Sebħ.

The festival is supported by the Malta Tourism Authority, Arts Council Malta and Festivals Malta.
