Katy Perry & Justin Trudeau Make Their Relationship IG Official

American singer Katy Perry and former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau are reportedly in a relationship.

Perry confirmed the news by posting a series of photographs on her Instagram account, including one showing Trudeau.

The images were taken during a recent trip to Japan. In one, the pair pose cheek-to-cheek for a selfie, looking cosy and content.

Another clip from the post shows them enjoying a meal together and sharing relaxed moments. Perry captioned the post “tokyo times on tour and more.”

The announcement followed Perry accompanying Trudeau on a visit to former Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida and his wife Yuko.

In a post on X, Kishida referred to Perry as Trudeau’s partner. He said that while working together during Trudeau’s time in office they built strong bilateral relations, including through the Japan-Canada Action Plan, and that he was pleased their friendship now continues on a personal level.

Perry and Trudeau made their first public appearance as a couple on 25 October in Paris, celebrating the singer’s 41st birthday.

However, they were first seen together in July during a walk with their dogs in Canada.
