Kate Gives Touching Update Following Major Surgery

Kate, a local girl living with the rare Tatton Brown Rahman Syndrome, underwent a successful and life-changing surgery. She is now recovering.
In a touching Facebook post, Kate shared that it’s been one week since her operation.
“For the next 6 weeks I have to keep my legs abducted, rest as much as possible, and do light exercises with mama and papa until my next X-ray,” she explained, “I’m hoping the pain becomes easier to handle, the fever stays controlled, and that step by step I start feeling healthier again.”
Concluding, Kate thanked her surgeons, Mr Max Mifsud and Mr Thomas Azzopardi, along with the rest of their team.
She proceeded to extend her gratitude to all the doctors and nurses in the ITU and fairyland ward, and anyone who supported her so far throughout this journey.
“One week down… many more to go, but I’m staying hopeful,” ended Kate.
