After weeks of controversy surrounding allegations linked to an incident last summer, inflatable water park Jolly Jump has issued a public statement addressing the concerns raised on social media and in the press.

The company said that “a lot has been said in recent days” regarding the incident, explaining that it had remained mostly silent because it did not want to comment prematurely while discussions and procedures were ongoing.

Jolly Jump revealed that, in recent days, it underwent inspections by local authorities, with the company stating that none of the authorities identified any issues with its operations and that it had received clearance to continue operating.

The water park also said it had met with its insurers, who had reassured the company that they would continue to support the business, as they have done since the beginning of the matter last year.

Describing the recent criticism as a “personal attack” on the business, Jolly Jump said the situation had created concerns for more than 50 employees, as well as suppliers and subcontractors involved in developing the attraction.

The company stressed that discussions regarding the case are continuing through the appropriate legal channels, adding that such matters cannot be resolved through social media.

Jolly Jump reiterated that customer health and safety remain its highest priority, stating that it has exceeded legal requirements since opening. The company said all staff members receive first aid training, while a medic and two lifeguards are always present on site. It added that regular third-party risk assessments are carried out to ensure operational standards are maintained.

The company thanked customers who had shown support in recent days and said it looks forward to welcoming visitors throughout the summer season.
