Jessica Camilleri Identified As Second Victim In Fatal Marsaskala Incident

Jessica Camilleri has been identified as the second victim in the tragic double fatality which also claimed the life of well-known DJ Ryan Spiteri late on Monday evening.
The 41-year-old from St Paul’s Bay worked as a social worker with Appoġġ.
The two were found lifeless inside a parked car in a garage on Triq Salvu Buhagiar, Marsaskala, shortly after 9:00pm.
In a statement issued today, police said autopsies confirmed that both deaths were accidental and were caused by carbon monoxide poisoning, which developed from the car’s exhaust while the vehicle was running inside the enclosed garage, reportedly to keep the air conditioning on.
