In a heartbreaking post on social media, mother of the late Jean Paul Sofia, Isabelle Bonnici shared photos of the last mother’s day card her son gave her.
‘This is the last Mother’s Day card my son gave me’, she wrote. ‘Now one of my most precious treasures. His words words are all I have to hold, alongside the love, memories, and heart break of losing him.’
‘To every mother like me, holding onto the last card, the last message, the last piece of their child… I see you.’
‘Our children may be gone from our arms, but never from our hearts. Wish all mothers who for one reason or another cannot enjoy the day with their child a gentle weekend and I send you all a massive hug.’
