Jean Paul Sofia's Mum Pays Tribute 3 Years After Tragic Death

Three years on from the tragic building collapse that took the life of Jean Paul Sofia, his mother Isabelle Bonnici issued a heartfelt tribute for her son, sharing two photos from when they were together.

In both, a younger and older Jean Paul sits on his mum’s back, with Bonnici writing;

‘In these photos, with my son on my back, I am reminded of something that time can never erase: no matter what life threw at us, he always had my back — and he still does.’

‘His love, his courage, and his bright spirit will guide me through every battle for truth and justice. This journey is not only for him, but for every victim whose voice was silenced by negligence’, she continued.

‘I stand here as his mother, proud of the boy he was, proud of the mark he left on this world, and determined to make sure his name is never forgotten.’
