Jason Micallef Hits Back At Critics Over Ta' Qali

Jason Micallef, Head of the Malta National Park Ta' Qali, shared a number of images of the park, accompanied by the following caption:
“After 4 days of bad weather and on a day as beautiful as today, the enormous spaces that we created or improved in Ta’ Qali in the last 5 years for families, look too beautiful.”
This statement from Micallef follows an announcement made by Robert Abela, who stated that the grass in Ta Qali’ will not grow in either January or February.
Prime Minister Robert Abela has described the Ta’ Qali National Park as one of the nicest parks in Malta, while acknowledging shortcomings in the execution of certain aspects of its regeneration project.
He revealed that a local expert with extensive experience in the field has been appointed to assess the site.
The Opposition issued a statement responding to the situation in Ta’ Qali, claiming that the restoration of the park’s grass would result in additional costs for the Maltese public.
PN alleged that the project has already cost Maltese and Gozitan taxpayers €300,000.
