Maltese singer Janice Mangion has launched her debut album, Kewkba fl-Univers, a project that brings together 14 songs representing different stages of her musical journey.

The album features 12 tracks that have been released over the years, alongside a new version of the song Univers. The track recently helped Mangion reach the final of the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The album also includes the song Ammen, written by Peter Borg, Joe Roscoe and Emil Calleja Bayliss, which premiered on VIBE FM.

Throughout her career, Mangion has collaborated with a number of composers and lyricists who contributed to the project. Among them are Cyprian Cassar, Mark Scicluna, Emil Calleja Bayliss, Heathcliffe Balzan, Rita Pace and Deo Grech, alongside Mangion herself.

Mangion described the album as a project that has developed over several years. She said the songs reflect different stages of her life both as an artist and as a person. Some of the tracks have been familiar to audiences for years, while others are being released for the first time. Together, she said, they form what she calls her musical universe.

Her manager, Marc Calleja Bayliss, said the album represents a natural step in Mangion’s career, bringing together songs that helped shape her artistic identity.

Kewkba fl-Univers is now available on major digital platforms through distribution by CAP-Sounds.
