It’s OK To Swim In Wied Iż-Żurrieq Again

After a warning was issued by the Environmental Health Directorate on the 9th of August 2025 in regards to bathing in Wied iż-Żurrieq, the bay has officially been cleared and is now safe for swimming.
According to the Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health, sampling of seawater from the bathing site has indicated it is okay for swimming.
