Italian singer Orietta Berti was recently interviewed on an Italian TV programme, wherein she spoke about experiencing the Malta fireworks factory explosion on her birthday in Malta.
Speaking to La Volta Buona Rai, Berti said that she was in Malta to perform when she experienced the shocking explosion.
She was staying at a local hotel when the blast shattered windows at the hotel, with guests reportedly evacuating following the shock.
She claimed to have walked down six flights of stairs, waited for three hours in the lobby and then discovered that she had lost her luggage when she arrived back in Rome.
