Yes, you read that right. According to the Meteorological Office, this Saturday 29th August is set to feel like 46°C as Malta enters another intense bout of heat.
Temperatures are set to remain scorching up until next week, with heat warnings issued by the MET Office and the health authorities warning residents to stay safe and hydrated.
‘The maximum temperature is expected to be 38°C or 39°C from Friday 28th August till Sunday 30th August (Orange)’, the MET Office warning reads. ‘The maximum temperature is expected to reach between 33°C and 35°C from Monday 31st August till Wednesday 2nd September (Yellow).’
