It Already Rained More Than Average In April’s First 36 Hours

According to Maltese Islands Weather, the monthly rainfall norm of 22.3mm has already been reached in the first 36 hours of April in various Maltese localities.

This comes as Holy Week is expected to have wintery weather persist well into Good Friday, with sunny weather set to hit by Easter Sunday.

Windy showers are expected to persist, with strong wind warnings issued as winds are expected to reach Force 6.

The more usual ‘spring’ weather is expected to return by next Monday, with temperatures too climbing to around 20 degrees Celsius.
