ION Harbour Reopens With A Fresh Look And New Seasonal Menu

Two-Michelin-starred rooftop restaurant ION Harbour has reopened at Iniala Valletta following a considered refresh designed to bring greater warmth, intimacy and a stronger connection to Malta’s Grand Harbour.

Led by Greta Apap Bologna of Greta Design, the redesign introduces bespoke half-moon tables created by Imperfetto Lab, allowing couples to sit side by side while enjoying uninterrupted harbour views throughout their meal.

The refreshed interiors feature soft taupe finishes, deep navy banquettes, sheer curtains and tactile natural materials, creating an elegant, cocooning atmosphere.

The reopening also brings a new seasonal menu from Simon Rogan MBE, Executive Chef Oli Marlow and the ION Harbour team, highlighting locally sourced Maltese produce. New dishes include line-caught tuna and fennel pollen tartlet, alongside a Żurrieq rabbit fritter with fermented sweetcorn and celery leaf.

ION Harbour is open for dinner Monday to Sunday and lunch on Fridays.
