The International Kite and Wind Festival returns to San Dimitri, Għarb, between 16 and 18 October, bringing together kite enthusiasts and participants from different countries for three days of entertainment.

Gozo Minister Clint Camilleri announced the festival during a Pre-Kite Festival activity held at the ARB Complex, where children and older participants came together.

The festival will feature kite displays, interactive activities and entertainment for the whole family, celebrating creativity and cultural exchange.

Għarb Mayor David Apap said preparations were underway for this year's edition, which is expected to build on the success of previous festivals. He also announced nighttime shows planned for Friday and Saturday, weather permitting, in the San Dimitri area.

Visitors are encouraged to use the Park and Ride service from the Victoria car park. Those travelling by car are advised to follow directions from traffic marshals to help manage congestion and access to the festival site.

The festival has become a regular feature of Gozo's cultural calendar, attracting thousands of visitors to the island each year.
