Inspire Granted 50 year Long Term Lease

Two sites located in the area known as Bur ta’ wara l-Andar, within the Bulebel Industrial Estate in the limits of Żejtun, and administered by the Lands Authority, have been transferred under a temporary long term lease for a period of 50 years to the Inspire Foundation. This agreement provides the organisation with long term stability, while creating opportunities for further investment in its facilities and ongoing development.
The Inspire Foundation was established in 2008 following the merger of the Eden Foundation and Razzett tal-Ħbiberija. Since then, it has developed into a leading organisation offering education, therapy and support services to persons with disabilities and their families. Its work continues to promote inclusion, independence and dignity within Maltese society.
Minister for Culture, Lands and Local Government Owen Bonnici described the agreement as a significant step towards securing a stable future for the foundation. He explained that the 50 year long lease will enable long term planning and sustained investment, ensuring that high quality services continue to be delivered to those who depend on them.
Chief Executive Officer of Inspire, Antonello Gauci, noted that the organisation supports around 1,000 individuals each year, along with their families. Through specialised education, therapy and community programmes, Inspire continues to encourage personal development and greater inclusion. He added that this agreement will allow the organisation to expand its reach and strengthen its services in the years ahead.
