The Armed Forces of Malta Day Parade will take place tomorrow, Thursday 15 October, at 9:30am in St John’s Square, Valletta, with rehearsals currently underway ahead of the event.
The occasion recognises the role of the Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) in safeguarding the country’s security and sovereignty. The AFM is responsible for national defence and carries out a range of duties, including maritime security, air operations and support during national emergencies.
The parade offers an opportunity to recognise the service and work of AFM personnel and their contribution to Malta’s security.
