Weather Facebook page It-Temp Madwarna shared photos of Maltese skies as the islands prepare for some possible rain showers and potential thunder storms later on in the week.
Saturday is expected to be partly cloudy with some chance of rain, with the rest of the weekend and the week expected to welcome more of such weather.
Mid-week next week is expected to see some thundery showers hitting the islands as well.
The photos shared by the page show what are called shelf clouds making their way towards Malta.
