In Photos: Magħtab Industrial Fire Brought Under Control

The industrial fire at the Wasteserv Plant in Magħtab has been successfully brought under control by the Civil Protection Department.
As of 9 hours ago, CPD was still on site conducting cooling operations to secure the area and eliminate any remaining risk of re-ignition.
‘All responding entities continue to operate on scene in full coordination, ensuring that the situation remains stable and under constant monitoring’, Civil Protection Malta explained.
‘No employees were injured’, said WasteServ in a statement earlier on following the fire breaking out.
