In Photos: Civil Protection Malta Bring Iklin Structure Fire Under Control

Yesterday, Civil Protection Malta responded to a structure fire in l-Iklin, mobilising a large scale operation involving Fire Stations 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8 and 11.

‘Firefighters worked intensively to bring the blaze under control, preventing further spread and safeguarding surrounding properties’, CPD explained.

The fire was successfully contained, with crews remaining on site afterwards to carry out cooling operations and eliminate all hot spots to reduce risk of re-ignition. No injuries were thankfully reported.

The CPD extended its gratitude to Mater Dei Hospital, the Malta Police Force, Enemalta plc, Clean Malta - Cleansing & Maintenance Division, WasteServ, Emergency Fire & Rescue Unit, St John Ambulance & Rescue Malta and all CPD volunteers.
